Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winner in jazz. Her birth date was the 20th of February, 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio, to Olden Wilson who worked in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy was one of six children. Nancy was influenced by her father's taste in music and the records that were played in her family home. In her early years she had already developed an idea of who she was as well as what she hoped to accomplish. Church choirs was instrumental in developing her talent. At the age of 16, she began to appear often on Skyline Melodies. She was 15 when she was crowned the winner of the TV talent show. The same year, Nancy began to perform at night clubs. Following her graduation from high school at the age of 17, Nancy matriculated for one year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to dropping out and becoming an accomplished singer. In 1956 she released her debut album as part of Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band with whom she toured from 1956 and 1958. As part of the group, Nancy made her first recording with Dot Records. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she make the move into New York so as to increase her chances of success. In 1959 she moved into The Big Town. In just a few months, she was offered a job singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx which was where her agent was introduced to her, and she was signed. Agent Adderley signed her to Capitol in the year 1960. The year she made her debut was the same year. Guess Who I See Today? Her records were successful and Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. With the help of Adderley's influence the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away to R&B towards jazz. Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley together with their 1962 group helped her reach the top. She had her breakthrough song Tell Me the Truth by 1963. This brought her a gig at New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she became a star.
Maisie is a British television and film actor. She is known for playing in the leading role Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth. She also starred in a principal role in The ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets as King Saul of Israel's daughter Michal. Other than that she has TV shows comprise The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow and Group Chat With Annie & Jayden. She was featured as an appearance as Korr Sella in the movie Short Wars: The Force Awakens, in the year 2015. In 2016, she was a part of the Netflix Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 as Chloe Winthrop.
